| With the swing back to
cavity construction CELCRETE has introduced a new variation
of it’s autoclaved aerated concrete building material
– a 50mm thick, reinforced veneer cladding panel.
The system for installing the panel follows the standard
veneer code and NZS 3604 framing code.
The panels which are 2200mm long and 600mm wide are fixed
to the framing with H3.2 timber battens to create a 40mm vented
cavity. All joints are cemented with a mortar glue and the
exterior is plastered.
The key features of this unique product are:
- 2200mm long x 600mm wide panels
- Lightwall cladding - 25kg/m2
- Steel reinforced
- Highly durable – will not rot, warp or shrink
- Quickly and easily installed by builders
- Readily cut on site to fit any shapes or angles
- System follows standard veneer code and NZS 3604 with
- 40mm vented cavity
- Cost comparable with plastered brick and polystyrene
- Can be used on plans drawn for brick or plastabrick
